About the project

Medical Institute of Sexual Health provides up-to-date information to parents, teachers, and health care workers about healthy sexual behavior and sexually transmitted diseases. They had an existing membership site that was not meeting their many objectives and were in needed of an updated look. I completely redesigned the site and set it up in WordPress to allow them to more easily add and edit content. I also installed a membership program to allow visitors to register at one of three levels, giving them access to special members-only content and to member forums. I set up a donation feature that allows visitors to make a one-time donation, automatic monthly donations, and tribute/legacy donations in honor of a loved one. Finally, I set up an ecommerce store in BigCommerce that provides the more complex shipping and back end features they needed, which were lacking in their former solution.
