Final Checklist

Here is a quick list of the things that should be in your Dropbox by end-of-day the Friday before your Start Date:

Login to your web hosting and domain registration (they may be the same login). Please test the logins. If we told you that you needed to get web hosting, please go ahead and sign up for that now and provide the login. Our preferred host is Siteground, their Startup Plan. Please put them in your Dropbox (which is secure), not in an email (which is not).
All final text content and photos for your website, organized into folders for each page of your website.
Notes about what you want for the design, including any images you know you want to use and/or links to stock images you might want to use.
Full links to any social media your site should link to.

How the Week Will Work

The weekend before your start date, I will typically look through your Dropbox and ask you any questions.
Monday morning I will work up a design for your Home page and send it to you to review. I will need feedback on that so that I can tweak and revise until you are happy. Once you are happy with that mockup, I will mockup one more page for review.
Once you are happy with the second mockup, usually some time on Tuesday, I will start building the website. You are now free to go about your life normally as any questions I might have at this point will be less time sensitive.
Some time Thursday or early Friday, I will send you a first pass of the built site to review. You can take however long you need to look it all over and save up a list of any changes to send me.
I will take care of revisions until you are happy, and then make the site live!
I will send you your final invoice, and once that is paid, I will send you the login and directions for editing your content.
