Heather Bouwman is the Minnesota-based author of two books for young readers. For her website, we worked together to get permission to use a wonderful 1930’s illustrated fairy tale map by artist Jaro Hess; Heather has had a map of this print hanging in her home since childhood, making is extra special. We pulled out one section of it to use as the home page, and then pieces of the art to use throughout the site, making this a truly unique author presence.
